Good morning...
Here's what we're looking at for weather today: 725/2019
Most areas should remain dry but a few isolated showers/thunderstorms cannot be ruled out between 4pm-8pm (of course, during game times and today's trophy/dinner event in Carver). Chance is only 20%. No strong/severe storms are expected and no heavy rain or gusty winds are expected with any potential precipitation. So, at this point, it's just for the coaches/umpires to keep an eye to the sky and see if there's any nearby showers/storms.

Concussion Training Guide

If you are interested in helping coach you have 2 options:

(A) Register yourself as you are registering you child or

(B) return to the registration system and register yourself at that time.

We need the background check  on all coaches on the field.  Either of the above options will Automatically trigger the Background check.

All head coaches and assistant coaches (In-House, SW Community league and Travel programs) are required to complete Concussion Training prior to coaching any practices or games.  you can not be on the field without this completed and turned in to ccybsa.reg@gmail.com.  There is no cost to complete this training.

Baseline testing for Concussion Management is required every 3 years.  The course is free.

If the date we have on file is less than 9/30/2016 you need to complete the course, print it out and send the new certificate to CCYBSA.Reg @gmail.com.

Free Online Concussion Course Available at www.nfhslearn.com

Help us make this season one of complete enjoyment for our young players.

Select Launch the course

Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league or school you are ready for the season.   Copy this certificate and email it to ccybsa.reg@gmail.com

Just an FYI you need to print it right then as you can not return to print it at a later date.  You will have to re-take it.

We also accept a copy of your certificate from say you took one to coach football.

The date on the certificate has to be within 3 years.   I use the date of 9/30/xx.  This covers us thru Fall Ball season.

So for 2019  Between 9/30/2016  to 9/30/2019    would be valid for the 2019 season.

To  be able to offer clinics this spring for Baseball and Softball,  we do need people to help facilitate and organize these clinics.  Therefore we would like to ask that if there is anyone interested in running these clinics to please contact us at ccybsa.reg@gmail.com and we can help answer any questions you may have before deciding on this commitment.  If there is not an interest from parents/coaches to facilitate, organize and help volunteer their time for these clinics, they will not be held.
